I believe that they would take the basic ingredient (MSM) and mix it with

emu oil (I THINK it is from emus???), I too thought about crushing the pills

and mixing it with emu oil. But found a small jar of cream for $7 at the

health food store.

I saw a neurologist for 6 years for chronic migraines that i've had since

1986, he put me on every antidepressant and epileptic meds, but never did a

thing about the pain-other than NSAIDS......I finally gave up on him, and

saw a neurologist closer to home in Feb. as I had an MRI and had spots on

the MRI, the new neurologist said that he wouldn't treat me until I saw a

psychiatrist as FMS is caused by depression, he never addressed my MRI at

all. I didn't make an appointment with the psychiatrist that he wanted me

to see...and he discharged me as a patient (not MY loss!), I still haven't

paid him...he charged me $300 for that wonderful bit of information...I told

my GP that I would NEVER see another neurologist, nor would I ever see

another foreign born MD or DO.

I went on the guaifenesin program in 1993 and my stomach bloated up so much

whenever I took it that I thought I would literally explode! I've had IBS

ever since. Unfortunately, it didn't help me at all.
