Guest guest
Thank you for the suggestion > > Dawn > Have you ever monitored your temp when you feel good?? Your normal might be lower than the 98.6 most people have.?
Guest guest
If I am remebering correctly awhile back we did either a poll or there was just several post on low body temp that most of us seem to have. It is fustrating that most docs do not recognize a temp as part of an infecton unless it is 101 or above. But also keep in mind that running a low grade temp is part of the bodies defense in fighting any infection. PSC 5/07 Listed

Guest guest
This is very interesting........I too have always had a low body Temp......usually 97.6 and when I tell Drs. about this they don't say a thing.....I know when I have a 99 temp. I am really sick.....lately I've been running between 97.9 and 99.6 and on the 99.6 days I really don't feel well.......I can have 99.6 in the early part of the day and at night be 98.6 or under.....can't understand what is going on so this was very interesting to me... Guest guest
I don't have PSC (husband does), but I also have very low body temp (normally below 97 upon waking - been as low as 95.5) Although I do have Gilbert's Syndrome: a benign liver condition characterized by slightly elevated bilirubin. When I researched this issue I found a site called 's Temperature Syndrome: www.wilsonnssyndrome.com. The website discusses low body temp only in conjunction with hypothyroidism, but it does appear from all the PSC posters that a compromised liver may cause lower temp as well.. part1.07070806.07000506@...> Wife of Fred, PSC, 03/04m UC, 03/
