Guest guest
Several good ideas on the med list, but I’ll admit to not being fond of gluing a pill to the box. IMHO if a patient can’t read (and understand) a medicine list, they probably shouldn’t be doing their own pills. One of the suggestions wouldn’t work for post-transplant patients, reading the label on the pill bottle. Ken was told not to rely of the label, as doctors change meds way to often to depend on the label and they were right! Ken meds can change weekly. I keep a Med page on my desk top, it’s so easy to change and always there. I can print out his meds in one minute to take anywhere and nurses always appreciate having a copy. Guest guest
I have one med that the doctor was trying a dose of 10mg/day but was causing me drowsiness so he cut the dose to 5mg/day. Either dose is available from the pharmacy but 5mg pills cost just as much as the 10mg pills. So the prescription still reads 10mg, but I just take 1/2 a pill a day.
