Guest guest Posted July 2, 2002 Report Share Posted July 2, 2002 Age range: 40-45 Male/female: female What are the symptoms? pain in classic tender points, fatigue Has you illness been diagnosed? yes, 4 months ago How long did you suffer before you got help? not long Is there a time that you can remember when it started? about 5 months ago Some of us have found lack of exercise we are overweight. Have you found this to be a problem also? I am not overweight but could benefit from exercise Are you on disability? No I am not If you are any pointers for others trying to get on disability? I've known people on SSDI and they say that having an attorney's help and being patient are really important What have you found that helps ease the pain, warm baths, medications etc.? warm baths, medicinal herbs, meditation, acupuncture, and if desperate, ultracet Do you have sleep problems? How do you deal with it? not that I know of Do you have family that understands your illness? No, they think it is mostly imagined and are prejudiced against those who have it Some have found certain foods causes problems with CFS or Fibro, have you? Not yet.
