I don't think what I get is needles and pins, but after not " using " my hands or legs for a while the first touches are pretty uncomfortable, maybe a little bit like needles and pins. It lasts only for a few moments, until again I'm not moving for a half hour or so. Once I am on the move it's fine. Hope someone else gives you more info.
