Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I join several weeks ago but just had a chance to say hi to everyone. I did post a messege regarding one of the posts i read on this messege board because i though the person could use a little advice. I was suprised by all the kind comments people made about what i had to say. I thought i might have sounded like a ranting raving madwoman (it was pretty late at night and i got riled up when i saw what ee had post about the doctor course of therapy). I am a 29 year old female with SLE. I have had this disease since i was 16. My major flare ups seem to pop up ever 2 to 4 year but of course the mini flareup occur mostly when i'm stress or my body is stressed. I also have pulmonary hypertension which only presents itself when i am having a flareup. The other major thing i deal with is arthritis which anyone who has that know, it sucks. I'm single and work as a pharmacist. I must say that being a pharmacist has it advantages to dealing with this disease. I feel for people who are not use to all the medical terminology and implications associated with any disease. It can be very overwhelming and very scary. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I will try to answer it. If i don't know the answer i may be able to direct you to a website that may help you.
