I think for me the mercury and maybe some other toxicities are probably at the core of my problems, but each problem area manifests differently and has to be given attention, like a naughty child. > > I just had the Great Smokies Comprehensive Liver Detox profile done, > I do not tolerate caffein at all...I usually get horrific attacks from it. > Can you use something else? I don't think I could handle NoDoz. I can't tolerate caffeine either, but either in Andy's book, or in the archives for the yahoogroup he talks about the differences between caffeine, nodoz, maybe chocolate, and a few other substances like that. If you get really bad " attacks " maybe it wouldn't be a good idea. Are you chemically sensitive? In Andy's book he talks about the phases of the liver and what that means. For me, what he said turned out to be true. Interestingly, he also says that an iron deficient person may get worse (liver-wise) when the iron deficiency is corrected. I don't know why he said this, but it seems coincidental that after improving my ferritin, I started developing noticeably chemical sensitivity. And the chemical sensitivity has imporved since being on the Cortef. > Interesting. I was on DMSA for about 7 months straight without a break. The guy I am going to seems to finally understand that even though I look o.k, and even look young for my 49 years, I am pretty messed up physiologically. And each new person I go to for consultation seems to look at me like, " come on, you must be making this up. you look fine! " Then they usually back down a bit when they get whatever test results back. R.
