The big difference is levaquin is taken once a day, and cipro twice. Either way the response is remarkable! Hi all, so out of the blue thurs eve i started feeling terrible then the throwing up started ever hr or so all through till fri. Thankfully i had appointment with hep at kings fri afternoon. woke up exhaused, feeling like a used punchbag and had this funny rash only on my face - has anyone else had this? the hep had poke at sides n tummy took temp - 38.6!! took shed load of bloods for culture tests etc.. & put me on ciprofloxacin - wow it has worked really quickly and touchwood no side effects. Any one else had this anti bio for an attack? this is only my 2nd, the first being when i fell ill in 2002 and docs realised i had something wrong when bloods came bac - i.e PSC & UC. so i'm pretty new to this - do they happen more frequently as you progress???
