VERY CRAZY, huh!!

I was on 2 grains but she cut me back to one until these test results

came back. She's on vacation but will call me on Monday. The only

adverse things I noticed on the 2 grains was a little return of

hotflashes and I think my heart rate is higher. Like around 104.

The new TSH recommendation is .30-2.5 . Are you sure that is the range for the

FT4? It is usually a lot smaller number than the high range you posted? Glad

to hear that you are doing well on the Thyroid-S. That's great that your dr

says she is willing to give you Armour. Her next test is to see if she will

give 'enough' to take care of symptoms as well. :-)

RE: Digest Number 2595

Hi All,

Before I went to the lab, though, she said she wasn't opposed to me taking it

and that she will prescribe Armour...Yeah!! It will be a lot cheaper through

Kaiser Permanente. Anyway, she only tested my TSH and my Free T4. No Free T3

test! Well, here are the results:

TSH is .01 (.028 - 5.8)

FT4 is 1.0 (0.28 - 5.00) This is too low, isn't it??

I'd like any and all comments, if you will. Thanks everybody for being there!

This is a truly great place!!

PS: She also told me there is a Thyroid movement going on out there and she

had a patient come in a few days before me with a thick stack of Thyroid in from

the internet. I'm not sure what she thought about that! lol
