I hear you loud and clear on that...Medicare audits are NASTY. My best

friend is head of the Medicare dept for DME at our local hospital and she is

bouncing off the walls!

Thanks for the encouragement as well as the info about

your hearing, it's great that you were awarded the

financial help you deserve and earned.

How does it work in terms of the lum sum ?, I heard

they go back retro-actively to when you orinigally

applied and calculate the monthly benefit over that

time. I applied about a year ago which means that

they'd give me a fair sum to start due to me previous

earning levels.

When I owned my medical supplies business I endured a

situation compared to my hearing. The doctor and

occupational therapist expert witnesses clearly go

through the motions, they know their roles well as

adversaries but the doctor was ill prepared

thankfully. There was no way he could deny the

validity of the information published about CFS in the

most prestigious bodies of medical information in the

world.
