Oh I am so sorry! I went through something very similar the first time I got sick, when they first suspected Lupus, and I was very fortunate that I got my sight back. Mine was in my right eye also. I had a lesion I believe is what they called it which prevented me from seeing out of only part of my eye. But someone was on my side cause it disappeared just as quickly as it appeared and left no scarring as they suspected it would. I've often wondered with me getting cataracts at such a young age (only 37) if it didn't have something to do with my illness. I have learned though that the high doses of steroids that they had me on in the past could very well be the cause of it too so I just kind of left it at that. I haven't taken steroids for a LONG time now and dread the day they prescribe them to me again as I can't stand the way they make me feel. But, I'll do whatever I have to to keep myself well. Is there anything they can do to help you with your sight?
