I just got a lab slip for FT3, FT4, TPO, and Serum Ferritan and Adrenal

saliva test. I have ordered that from ZRT and will go get a blood draw

tomorrow. I have had a couple of weird episodes the last few days where in

the late afternoon I'm so shaky and food doesn't seem to help.I have been

getting a little shaky but these are worse. I don't feel hungry. It seems

I'm falling apart :(. I too, have a very quick startle reflex.And I have

MVP. I KNOW I don't handle stress. Every single time I go on vacation or

even take a drive that lasts over a couple of hours, I get sick with

something. I crave caffeine. Sorry to keep going on and on. I'm really

feeling kind of hopeless right now :(

If I were you, I would look at ferritin and adrenals. Though it is very

possible that you are in the hyper phase of Hashi prior to the crash, I

still have a feeling adrenals and ferritin are involved. I would also look

at dhea, progesterone, estrogen, hgh and testosterone plus free testosterone

as well as a TPO (Hashi antibody test) and an ANA (rhuematoid antibody test)

To me, seeing that you are cold, hair loss and unable to gain weight,

something is severely depressed. The research I am seeing lately is

interesting because there seems to be an issue of whether the thyroid

issues come because all our hormones are depleted or the other way around. I

wish more people would do research on cause and effect, not just results. I

see many of us that have thyroid issues started the " severe " decline over 45

unless a hysterectomy or something like that. Now there are exceptions to

every rule, but...
