Thanks, Cheryl. I got it.

I see there are more options to post on this list.

It's too difficult for me to edit a post back to the essence of a post or summarize it, because of the nowadays learning problems.

In general I need the whole post below

to remind myself of the contain of a message, because of this very short term memory.

After I've copied and paste a post, I forgot parts of the essence.

With a very long post, I maintain the first lines of the original post and delete a part, when I've finished a reply, so inboxes with limited space won't get overloaded, if I won't forget.

Before, I have copied and paste the post, so it will not say " truncate message" if I would just delete it without pasting the post. I know this happens from an other list.

If I send a reply or a message in general, sometimes I save a copy of it, sometimes I do the same with a returning post.

Thanks for sharing your ideas on posting. As you can see

I have practiced with it.

proper posting

It is like this: See what I did to your letter below. I deleted a bunch of what you said but left enough to show what you are talking about. I changed the subject line from “subject-line” to “proper posting”. I deleted unnecessary words and the lupie tag at the end. Compare what I edited below to your original note. You wrote the note well but I assume most people read it and they just need a reminder of what you said. Get it?
