Experience of the endoscopist is one factor of many. I

developed pancreatitis after my first two ERCPs; the 2nd was done at

Mayo Rochester, and that’s all he does (I was the 12th that

day – at 2:00 PM!).

I recall the point of an older post here - the experience of the dr performing

the ERCP greatly impacts side effect as pancreatitis.
