Guest guest
Hi, Headaches are very common in fibro patients. I believe we mostly have tension-type headaches because of tight muscles in our neck & shoulders. Are you peri-menopausal, or are your headaches related to your menstrual cycle, have you noticed? My pain is at the base of my skull - which I've read is common in fibro - where the neck muscles attach to the skull. It feels like a brick - or 2 - or 3! lying on my neck, chronically now for over 15 years. Also, my scalp or skull has sore spots, like I've been hit with a hammer the day before. These are called trigger points. I rub them but they don't go away until they are ready. hope my experience is of help, Colette
