Guest guest
There is a researcher mom in Beaverton, OR, who knows about LYME and how like with TSH tests - they don't read them properly. I haven't been tested yet, but Kathy tells me all the time, it only takes one (1) band to be positive, not all of them. (Oh, the test came back normal - grrr!) She says it's so rampant that some families have had it for generations! I do believe this woman is right on the money. Both coasts are rife with it! Most people believe the poppycock that you only have to worry if you get a bull's eye rash from a tick bite. But Lyme is highly contagious. This- I BELIEVE - is the basis of the notion that HYPOS MARRY HYPOS. I BELIEVE Lyme is contagious and Lyme, or similar chronic low-grade pathogen, attacks the nutrient rich CNS and organs, such as the thyroid and brain. Feeling better on antibiotics is a great clue but few clinicians realize that the antibiotics a) have to be given for months, even years, and some pathogens like nanobacteria are impervious to the usual antibiotics and need EDTA for example, which dissolves their calcium shells. .... Re: *Mo (was:Can hypo folks climbmountains?? >>Lyme disease (Borrelia bergorferi) is not only widely under- un-diagnosed but is notorious for all the symptoms of hypothyroid also.<< You know it's funny you should mention this. When I was so sick and moved across country like that, when I got to California and went to a doctor out there as I just couldn;t even function enough to even work, they thought I had Lyme Disease. I was tested repeatedly for it always negative, but working in MY career for this many years especially in PA where it is rampant, I wonder if I haven;t had that to contend with as well. I took antibiotics for about a month just in case from that doctor, and did feel better but I also got rid of a ton of really bad stresses as well about the same time and increased my Armour too. So who knows which helped the most?
