Hi and group,

I took am on a list of supplements that I get directly from my

rheumatologist. What is the strict diet of fruits and vegetables all

about? Does the diet actually have a play in FMS? Could you please

email me a list of what your doc suggested that you take as far as the

supplements and the dosages?

Thanks

Jim

A doctor that GETS it!

I saw a doctor today who actually *gets* it!! Yayyy. He took me off of

Effexor (the side effects of which were way worse than any benefits I

was getting... none of which I noticed). He put me on a strict diet of

raw fruits and vegetables and gave me a list of herbs and vitamin

supplements to take. It was very... interesting to say the least. I

know everyone reacts differently to different treaments, but nothing has

helped so far and I'm pretty much willing to try anything short of

running around naked in my front yard with a rubber glove on my head.

If there's any interest, I can list the supplements he recommended... or

you can email me personally and I can list them and the dosages for you.

Keeping my fingers crossed...

I would be interested in this list of supplements...I am actually trying to put

together a list of them and maybe I can see if I'm on the right track :)

Thanks!

Jen

A doctor that GETS it!

I saw a doctor today who actually *gets* it!! Yayyy. He took me off of Effexor

(the side effects of which were way worse than any benefits I was getting...

none of which I noticed). He put me on a strict diet of raw fruits and

vegetables and gave me a list of herbs and vitamin supplements to take. It was

very... interesting to say the least. I know everyone reacts differently to

different treaments, but nothing has helped so far and I'm pretty much willing

to try anything short of running around naked in my front yard with a rubber

glove on my head. If there's any interest, I can list the supplements he

recommended... or you can email me personally and I can list them and the

dosages for you.

LOL... well I try to add in humor wherever possible... sometimes it

gets me into a bit of trouble, but it's either laugh or cry and

though crying can be cathartic, I much prefer laughing.
