Guest guest
I believe you can over-do any thyroid medication. Anything with T3 in it is especially potent. I am definitely taking my time with this. My doctor wants me to be on a stable dose for 6 weeks before taking another blood test. I think I can understand this simply from the changes I felt from increasing from 1.5g to 2.0g. It definitely makes me slightly hyper, but it seems like I adjust after awhile. We'll see, I'm just on my third week. I would suggest slowing down. I am going for 1/4-1/2 grain every couple of weeks. You don't want to go into your doctor and freak him out with a rapid heart beat, high blood pressure, and possibly thyroid panel numbers that make him think you're taking too much. Give the old body a bit of time to adjust to it slowly. I also had RAI 20 years ago. Did they sell you the notion that RAI was a piece of cake and all you have to do is take one simple pill everyday and you're perfectly normal? I wish the internet had been around back then!
