Guest guest
that was a horrible experience for you to endure for what ? for as I can see it you are in the same situation as you were before going to the E.R.. My rhuemetoligist always tells me the most important thing for me to avoid is STRESS as it brings on flares. Anyways they treatment you recieved as far as I can see only worsened your stress level which will increase your lupus symptoms. If most DR. " s even began to live in the pain we deal with daily the would not be so condenscending of our problems. I know how my primary DR. is when I complain of pain It is like he is a million miles away. Here is an example last year when I complained of recurring migranes he checked to see if I was pregnant. The reason was because I had migranes with all four children. I also had toxemia with all four pregnancies which until recently I thought was normal. Anyways my rhuemetoligist was a little taken back that he didn't give me medicine for migranes ( so that I would not suffer for a week at a time with light sensitivity).Another example I complained of pain in the region of my uterus and he almost blew me off again but I persisted. Well I have fibroids , an enlarged uterus with a need for a hysterectomy to end the pain. I also have ovarian cyst ( no medicical treatment just let me suffer)and when my gyeno did the exploritory surgury he found that my uterus and bladder had fused together.Well blow me off Doc; I know now I must advocate for myself because none of them really care if I live or die .I am just a paycheck and if I die another one will replace me. In fact my major beef with DR.'s is that they are so overworked and so overbooked they no longer listen, really truly listen to patients. Well I will pray that you pain will subside and you will correct this situation with the neglectful DR. smile and enjoy the fourth and relax if you can. marion
Guest guest
n, that is EXACTLY what mine had done two years ago when I had a hysterectomy. The DR left in my right ovary, why I don't understand because I always get cysts too. Anyway, I finally got a gyeno that listens and he is going to take out that ovary Wed. because when I had the adhesions taken off a few weeks ago the surgeon said it doesn't look right. The gyeno said it wasn't that bad but I told him that I am SICK of men making choices about MY body and I should get a vote. I have been so much better off since the hysterectomy, I know I won't regret it. He said that all makes sense to him and scheduled it as soon as possible. I almost fell off the table I was so shocked! A DR, that listened and agreed?? I wrote it on my calander in case it never happens again. a Another example I complained of pain in the region of my uterus and he almost blew me off again but I persisted.
