Guest guest
I was never feverish unless I was dying. My mother could tell I was sick by looking at my eyes; she would tell my doctor that they were " glassy " when I was really ill. I started seeing a doctor for adults when I was 10 or 11 because the pediatrician kept insisting I was a faker. Now, normally, I was a very active, athletically inclined kid. I still have relatively good muscle tone for my age. So does my dad. Its in my dna. However, something else must be in my DNA because I suffered from periodic sore throat, headache, and " malaise " which is a fancy word for fatigue that docs use. I would literally " crash " and had to take to my bed for a couple of days. As i've aged this has increased. I have run a fever when: I've had a ruptured appendix and when my youngest was laying on one of my ureters in late pregnancy and blocked a kidney from functioning. I've had pneuomonia several times and had mononucleosis WITHOUT FEVER. Why? Because 98.6 is a fever for me!
