Guest guest
Hi Nancie In reference to your pain meds, I take PIROXICAM 20MG once a day with 2 tylenol with codeine every 6 hrs. It doesn't help much but I feel worse when I don't take it. I know it takes the edge off to the point where I can not think about the pain for a while. I also know what you are saying about the non pain days just being a rest for the pain to come back worse than ever. I actually had no pain for 7 weeks this summer. I don't know what I did to stop the pain and I don't know what I did to bring it back, but now it seems worse than ever. I also can't sleep with the pain of laying in one spot. And I know about the really weird dreams that can happen. They can be really wild! But your right at least we finally get to the dream state! =^..^= ^,,^ AlyceAnn ^,,^ =^..^= ----- Original Message ----- From: Nancie Taube I really need to find some sort of alternative pain relief...any ideas out there? The vicodin doesn't really do much unless I take 2 at a time, along with one or two robaxin, and then of course, I'm pretty well out of it for a few hours. I'm trying to walk...5 minutes at a time is about all I can manage, but if I do it 6 times a day, I've got a half hour in. Trouble is, if you do too much, you end up hurting worse for the next 3 days and you've taken 3 steps back instead of 1 foward. I've been in a LOT of pain lately, Monday I was almost pain free, but since then the pain has been the worst I've had yet. I got the book about the " Trigger Point Therapy Workbook " but dh and I haven't had a chance to look into it much yet. My " bzzzzz " or electrical shock feeling is almost constant whenever I move, it even wakes me up at night. My dreams are always that I'm in the hospital after surgery and in great pain, or that I'm in a wheelchair for some reason, and in great pain. At least I'm sleeping enough on those nights to dream! Sorry to be so negative again today, I'm having a very rough time. After such a great day Monday, I thought this episode or flare up, or whatever you call them, was on its way out, but it seems to have just been resting for a day to gather strength and come back worse than ever.
