Guest guest
Suzanne, you have gotten excellent responses and hope they really help. My contribution: please note that before the TSH and thyroid labs came into existence, folks dosed with Armour entirely by symptoms, not by little black ink marks on a piece of paper. Your situation is a classic case as to why that is STILL necessary, no matter what the reason is as to why you still feel so bad. Docs are entirely and completely stupid in this area. Since you did take your Armour before your labs, that can definitely explain the numbers. BUT EVEN SO, your free T3 was NOT that high above range! And even so, IT DOESN'T MATTER. Your symptoms scream the truth, not the ink spots. If anything, you might have a touch of thyroid hormone resistance. Your blood can look high, but your tissues may not be getting what your blood shows. And the bottom line is that if your doc refuses to treat you correctly, you can always add more Armour or natural thyroid by ordering it from the net. Have you checked out the FILES section? There are good files to read that could help you with your doc. Check out the TSH article, for example. We're behind you all the way.
