Thank you MM but I'm finding it hard to be assertive with my doctor when I can tell he's already tired of me. He's sending me to a new rheumy but she can't get me in till the middle of next month. Has anyone else here had any problems with their brain? They are beginning to think that I may have that CNS Lupus too cause lately I've been having troubles with my motor controls, etc. Anyway, back on the subject... I TRY to be assertive but it's hard to when you can tell that someone's looking at you like your crazy. I'm just getting so worn out from it all! Oh sure, they know now that there is something badly wrong with me now that I'm running a pretty good temp along with all of the symptoms of Lupus but they tell me that something even much worse than what's going on with me now has to happen before they can be definite on what it is. It's a sad world when even your own doctors don't listen to you anymore! I wish we had to money to seek medical attention at one of these specialty places that are out there for autoimmune diseases. Then we could go there just long enough for them to give me my definite diagnosis and not have to tell everyone that they don't know what it is all of the time! Twice in my life now I've been told that I might have something that they don't know anything about yet. That may be true, but they could still try me on different meds to see if something would help. It's been since I got sick, actually on my birthday, August the 4th, that they now say my symptoms are looking like Lupus but then when they try to get me in to a rheumatologist they can't see me till the middle of next month! Come on! If anything my fever has gotten worse and they've just got me sitting here, waiting. They put me on some antibiotics in the beginning but as they can see, THAT didn't do me any good. Sorry, I'm just so fed up with doctors!! Here I am again awake at, well it was 1:30 in the morning when I woke up, now it's almost 2:30, but I NEVER sleep! I'm gonna wait till the doctor's office opens up today and see what I can do about being seen earlier than the middle of next month.
