Guest guest
I read in an earlier post that a doctor claimed that depression causes this disease? Do you think that is true? Dawn, No, I do not. I have been depressed from about 18 and I had no symptoms of fibro until I was in my 40's. but fibro can cause depression. If you are not taking something for depression, you should. It will smooth the rough edges. What are you taking for pain? Maybe you need something stronger. Talk to your doctor. See a therapist. Listen to your body, it will tell you what you need to do. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
Guest guest
I think depression is something that goes along with it. I have lost my job do to this stuff and not feeling well and hurting all the time. YOU sit and want to be able to do the things you use to and to do them with your kids!! Also I am depressed too because of losing a brother and a mother in-law at young ages. My mother in-law treated me like I was her daughter we was close. Some people would give anything to have one like her. And she loved her grandchildren too. So it is hard to except things the way they are. My brother died of Cancer at 40 only 3 years ago and Norma only 2 so dealing with that and all that is wrong with me it is so hard to handle. I will see what I find on a search and let you know, but I think they are together!! Just an opinion!! shirley Re: Depression & fibro (wasThanks Tricia) I read in an earlier post that a doctor claimed that depression causes this disease? Do you think that is true? Dawn, No, I do not.
