Guest guest
Hi Everyone: This group is getting way to hard to keep up with :-). I have been wondering (someone may have asked this, but I can't read ALL the posts, too tired), once you're on Armour (or any other thyroid med) are you on it for life? Is it ever possible for your body to start producing enough of what it needs to produce, for you to feel normal? Or is it the case that once you start taking a thyroid supplement, your body never learns to make enough of its own? Are there " natural " ways to stimulate your body to make enough hormones? Just wondering, because the thought of having to take this for the rest of my life, just seems a bit scary (still haven't started it yet, seeing the GP on Monday). Take care.
