Guest guest
Hi. My name is and I was diagnosed with FMS six months ago. I learned about your group from a member of a support group in my hometown. I know that FMS won't just " go away " but that it can be mangaged. My doctor has given me Darvocet to take at the beginning of a flare up, but they make be drowsey so I hesitate to take them if I am at work or at home with my two year old son (kind of limits the time I can take them, huh?) He also perscibed Amitriptyline to help me sleep, but I wake up groggy and sometimes I don't hear my son at night (until he comes and taps me on the head and wakes me up), so I'm thinking of asking for a different medication. I know that different medications work for some but not others, but is there anything out there that won't leave me groggy in the morning? Thankfully, I don't seem to be having such severe pain now that the warmer weather is finally here (NYS weather has a mind of it's own), but I still have my bad days. Well, thank's for your time.
