I was released after 6 days and I am not using pain medications. I am climbing stairs and exercising as much as I can and eating very wisely. I came home with no swelling. They only had to give me one unit of blood during the operation. Just a few side effects from the meds, but still very tolerable. I want the newly diagnosed and listed especially to know that it was not nearly as bad as I expected. Feel free to ask me anything that will help you better deal with your upcoming op.
