Guest guest
This is info on me- not my son who has PSC but i don't know who else to ask ?? I will of course be talking to my drs soon but am hoping to get some ideas before my CT scan today ?? A little background info- I have had elevated LFTs for a while (that are not always high ??) and have had bile duct dilations on imaging. My first liver biopsy showed early bridging fibrosis but no cause identified. My 2nd biospy showed increased eosinophils (autoimmune ??) The hepatologist I saw was quite dismissive of my enlarged liver and spleen- said that 'when you gain weight' (I have) your liver and spleen get larger... I have recently been tentatively been diagnosed with some autoimmune + ?? issues. I have had a pleural effusion drained on my right side that was thought to possibly be liver related ? In the ER they kept repeating my LFTs and pancreatic enzymes... The effusion was exudative and had a lot of eosinophils in it as well as 11,000 WBCs and 20,000 RBCs and LDH ratio >2 ... I saw my hematologist 2 days ago, because he is always helpful even if not his 'area' and he wanted me to see a pulmonologist yesterday. The pulmonologist did labs yesterday and ordered a chest and abdomen CT scan today. Here are my abnormal labs from yesterday- does any of this sound liver related ??? Sorry to ask- but like I said I don't know who to ask- my hepatologist (that I won't be going back to) will not be helpful and when I tried a few days ago my GI's office said he couldn't see me until the end of January....
