-Here are my lab results from 2/17:

Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum is Free T3, right? If it is, then

that was 3.3 (2.3-4.2 range) Free t$ was 1.15 (0.61-1.76 range).

My ferritin was low back in Dec. We didn't recheck that in Feb. but

it was in the 30's in Dec. I've been taking iron daily. It needs

to be at 70, right? My doc thought 30 was fine so I didn't request

another test this last visit.

Do you need any other lab results?

Yes, I'm at 3 1/2 grains (210 mg.) I take 120 mg. in the AM, then 90

around 2:00 PM. I'm sleeping fine, in fact, that's all I want to

do. This is so much like I was before I felt so good.

I started feeling bad almost 3 weeks ago. I just felt drained,

thought I just needed to rest but it was a head cold coming on.

This was the first time I've not used Echinacea to help me get over

a cold and I've just been wiped out. I have a good day and then

it's bad for the next two. No energy, some brain fog (AGAIN, it had

gone away), headache. I've been over the head cold for a week now

but I feel bad, just like I did before the Armour.

I don't think I'm perimenopausal. I just turned 40 in January

though. The only hormone level I have right now is a high

testosterone level and DHEA was high. I haven't been able to

convince the doctor to run anymore hormonal tests. He thinks they

will all level out when I get my thyroid levels right.

What do you think I should do? Do you need more of my thyroid

results?

I appreciate your help very much!

I would feel better if my ft4 was around 1.40 to 1.50. We are all

different though.

It does look like you need to up your Armour. Most often, when you

find your optimal dose--the dose that removes all hypo symptoms--

your free T3 is at the top of range, if not over. Yours is only mid-

range.

Yes, your Ferritin was low enough last Dec. to correct it. Are you

taking enough iron, though? For example, I have to take 2-3 325 mg.

Ferrous Sulfate tablets to even begin to get it up to a good level.
