Guest guest
I'm assuming I'm one of those who doesn't have a problem, though there was certainly a LOT of stress besides the thyroid leading up to me being diagnosed. (Moving, working on my PhD, single-momming while hubby took a long distance assignment, finding out the new house needed all floors and half the drywall replaced) I was diagnosed at the end of a month long Christmas break, so leading up tot he diagnosis, I rested (translation: slept and/or sat on my ass) and upped my vitamin support. I've also given up caffiene and my diet was already no sugar/ no refined crap. So - short of trying Cortef or Isocort as a preventative, is there anything else I should do supplementation wise? I'm only at 1.5 grains right now, so it's still early in the increases. My hunch is that I'm ok. I was on 1 grain for 4 weeks, then 1.5 for two and I haven't seen any negative effects, only symptoms that are not fully abated yet. Thanks! Guest guest
I think you are just fine. My problems showed up in just less than two weeks. If you've gotten this far, you are doing great. Tish
