That is so great to hear! I really enjoy walking, esp. in the fall when the

leaves are falling. In the summer I can't do too much walking outside. I hate

feeling like I'm 70, but in all reality I am 27. So, if there is a train, I'd

like to join! Well, I am going to get to bed. Everyone have a restful sleep!!

Hi !!

I'd love for you to join in! The book I used to guide me on my fast is " The

Idiots Guide to Fasting " . I did a one day fast and drank a gallon of water and

40 oz of juice throughout the day. I also drank 3 cups of Celestial Seasonings

DeTox AM tea and made a vegetable broth (was actually kind of yucky) to drink.

Needless to say, I was in the bathroom ALOT!

Now my diet is going to consist of as many fruits and vegetables as I can pack

in a day. No more junk food. I rarely eat red meat anyway, so I'll continue

eating chicken, turkey and occasionally pork.

I made my own tea for bed time. The herbs I used came from the book " The

Fibromyalgia Cookbook " by Meoller (not really a cookbook, more like a guide

on what not to eat). I mixed equal amounts of chamomile, mint (next time I'll

put more mint in), lavender, catnip and valerian root. I had tea bags that you

fill and press with an iron to close. If you have a good herb shop near you,

you should be able to get all these herbs easily. It makes me sleepy and the

valerian keeps me asleep at night. No groggy mornings either!

So far, it seems to be working :)

It is so hot here, I wouldn't dream of walking outside at all. (I'm in

Chandler, AZ) When we went up to the mountains this weekend, I walked outside

alot. It was gorgeous!!

We were in Arizona for 2 weeks, it was absolutely fabulous! It was

hot, but with the dry air we could stay outside and still be able to

breathe. We spent 98% of our time outside in Arizona, we loved it, we

don't do too much outside at home. We live in Florida, where the

humidity is so high that when you step outside you can't breathe, you

can't sit outside on the screen porch and read the paper without sweat

pouring down your face, your clothes end up soaked of sweat. It's just

disgusting. I guess we were at a higher elevation than where you are.

My hubby wants to move to AZ now, I'm thinkin' about it.
