Thank you for giving this example Arne.This is why we still let people know about United Way as a way to give sinceit can actually bring in more despite the administration cost if there are matching funds.LeeMy United way contribution is ALL directed to PSC Partners Seeking a Cure, in addition to my employer's matching gift. According to the Better Business Bureau, United Way administrative costs are about 14% (http://charityreports.bbb.org/Public/Report.aspx?CharityID=1994).I could give directly to PSC Partners, but I would lose my employers matching gift.
