Did Doc. really test the free T's?

I am not certin that my Doctor did the right tests. Could anyone tell

me if any of these tests are the free T's

Thyroxin (T4) --- Is this Total T4?

T3 Uptake --- seems like I have been told this is a useless test

Free Thyroxin Index --- Is this Free T4?

T3 --- Is this free T3?

I questioned the Dr. about this and she assured me that the free T's

were in this group. Does she even have a clue?

If these are not the Real Free t's can you tell me what they are

called? Just Free T4 and Free T3 or something more scientific?
