Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, Great Britain has even more rain, they do in general. Within the next days The Netherlands will have in some parts flooded streets again, but Great Britain will even get heavier rain, the aftermath of hurricane Charly, called ex-Charly by the Brittish broadcast. With heavy rain-fall the dykes need to be watched, here. I used to not like the winter much either. Last year's winter i sat with open windows while it was freezing outside and the heating off. I have these days, just like after i sat in the sun, that it's like the heat is caught in my body. It can happen in the winter as well, even on days without any sun shine. Perhaps caused by UV of light bulbs. In the end, when i was still working i just attended one meeting for a few hours and was sick for two or more weeks. The light tubes were on all the time. It's a shame, saisons seem to start to look alike, also when you miss a part of your favorite saison. My favorite saisons are the spring and autumn. Some leaves in the platterns in front of the house have already turned too. Did you need to limp when you walked on crutches? In the past i walked on crutches several times, but than i limped on one foot. That's much heavier than just walking. It can be dangerous, even when walking on two feet. Without the crutches i fall down even sooner than without them, caused by weak legs, although i don't have weak muscles, and dizziness. I keep training my belly muscles to catch the force loss in the legs and upper body. I had the physiotherapist in awe for my stomach muscle exercises. I can't do them when my legs are out of order. Occassionally it's so bad, i almost sleep with the crutches in bed. LOL. and the phone near my bed, in case i awake not only temporary paralized, but for days. The mobile scooter isn't approved yet and the person still is on vacation. Even then, i will need the crutches when i step out of the mobile scooter. Last year i got these crutches permanently, short for my birthday. As i didn't celibrate my birthday last year, because i felt so depressed, they were my only bithday " present " . I walk 200 meters the most with these crutches, but without them i won't get anywhere. I'm bound to them forever. That's why it's a bad thing i broke my thumb. Indoors i try to walk as less as possible with crutches, but i have the furniture arranged in such a way, i can grasp at something all the time. I fall down frequently. Or else i slam the doors with me between them, forgetting i haven't passed yet. Ah well, they are just bruishes, they heal. And this i can't say for the rest of my body.. Sorry, for rambling on like this. Last monday, someone i thought off, was my best friend, let me know by email, she can't handle my " handicaps " her words, and therefor she decided we are no friends any longer. I feel like a thrown away carbage bag, a thing that's out of order. micha. > Hi Micha, I saw something awful on TV. A whole town was flooded in Great > Britain.
