UPDATE On My Daughters Assault

Well, the reports are now going to the DA's office. We are probably

going to go to trial. Plus the Sheriff has lied to us so, now on

Monday we are going to be on the local news. Victim Services is going

to be here too. We sent over ALL our paperwork and the news guy, ,

is amazed at ALL the mess ups the cops AND the hospital did. We MIGHT

have an attorney but no one has the experience to take on the county

and the sheriff's dept.

To get away we took Lacey to the ocean (because she wanted to collect

shells). She had a GREAT time. Even though we couldn't afford it we

did it. I just wish I could go back a few months so I could have stop

this from happening in the first place.

I know it isn't my fault but I STILL feel VERY GUILTY. I'm still

having the crying sessions at night, in my room. When I watch Lacey

sleeping too I start to cry to know that she had to go through that.

The " jerk " that did this to her has NOT been punished by his parents.

He has gone on MANY outings (horseback riding, motorcycle riding,

boating, ATV'ing, camping). It makes me sick to see this kid NOT being

punished and Lacey having to be a prisoner in her own home.
