Guest guest
I have had allergies for 22 years, started out with bad hay fever and gradually got much worse...dust, pollen, grass, hay, chemicals, animals, food...etc. The popping and itching ears has only been going on for less than 5 years, seems to be getting worse, and cleaning my ears out frequently doesn't seem to help. I've tried celebrex, vioxx, bextra, voltaren, orudis, naprosyn, there are only 1 or 2 RX NSAIDs that I haven't tried, and IMO they are worthless. But is all that the doctor will prescribe, not only are they worthless, but they have ruined my stomach also. I have decided that from now on, I will tell the doctors that I am 'sensitive' to NSAIDs, as I refuse to take any more! My husband has been giving me a hard time about taking any meds.....I don't understand what concern it is of his? He sees what is going on with me, maybe he can't find anything else to complain about? kmnewberry@... _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

It could happen because of all the NSAIDs that you took. Relefen caused my tinnitus. Try to protect your ears from loud noise as much as you can. Use ear plugs if necessary. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ My husband has been giving me a hard time about taking any meds.....I don't understand what concern it is of his? He sees what is going on with me, maybe he can't find anything else to complain about? He could be concerned that you are taking to many meds but you need pain meds and anything else the doctor prescribes. Have him go with you to your doctor. Maybe it will help. As for his concern, that I can understand but as long as your doctor thinks that a med will help, I think that he should really not upset you about your meds. Medication decisions should be between you and your doctor. Explain to your husband why you are taking a certain med and if he can't or won't understand, then I would let it drop. Let his comments not bother you. You know what you need to know and do about this fibro.
