Guest guest
Just called my Rheumy since the new nerve medicine isn't letting me sleep. They just got in my labs from last week. Looks like the lupus numbers are up, white blood cells are up, perhaps pancreatitis, blood sugar is a tiny bit higher than normal. They're going to try and get me some sleep help tonight...hopefully that will make it all seem a bit better. Haven't really slept since Thursday. The stinker of it all is that since my ex left and doesn't make any contact, I'm not only going this all alone, but it's getting really boring. I don't have energy to do anything, and I've watched as much TV and read as much as I can stand. Don't really know what to do with myself since I can't " do " . Any suggestions? Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about you being alone. Believe me, I know what that feels like. And I really don't know how much help I can be for you, but I just always tried to keep busy. I was either doing SOMETHING around the house, like picking a big project that I knew would keep my mind off of things. Like, I would paint one of the rooms. I even hand painted one of them with a brush cause I didn't have anything else to paint with, LOL. And if I wasn't doing some kind of a project around the house I was off doing something else, like fishing. I used to go sit by the lake or river and fish all day by myself and I Loved it! As far as your sleeping goes I know what you're going through too; I NEVER sleep much. Let's see, right now where I live it's about 1:30 in the morning and I only slept maybe 3 hours, which is good for me cause I usually only sleep about 2 hours at a time. I do have meds I can take to help me sleep but they really don't work for me anyway. And I haven't asked the doctor for something else cause I'm afraid of taking much anyway for fear of addiction. So, I've just gotten used to not sleeping much. But sometimes it does get rough if I haven't had much sleep at all so I understand what you are saying. I hope you got, or were able to sleep through the night this time. Dawn Marie Same song...second verse Just called my Rheumy since the new nerve medicine isn't letting me sleep.
