Guest guest
I was just thinking the same thing this morning. My first baby was just 6 pounds, I wore ordinary clothes, in fact most people didn't even know I was pregnant. I had a little buddha belly just like I have now Lynda (in the UK) Re: Can we EVER lose weight with this stupid disease... the belly fat is stuck on for good i think. i'm fine everywhere else - but this cute little belly. haha. cindi
Guest guest
A couple of years ago I used to correspond with a Pakistani who is a Homeopathic practitioner. He told me that in his country and probably most of the eastern countries that they bind the woman after they have their babies. Well that made me think. When I was in high school I think everyone wore girdles. I went to a school where the girls had to wear skirts or dresses and nylons until panty hose were more prevalent. ( I graduated in 1967) So I am sure almost every girl wore a girdle, even over the panty hose. I had a stomach that was flat and strong. Thinking back I am sure that girdle didn't make my stomach muscles slack, I think that it actually helped them. When I quit wearing the darn thing then stuff started slacking! *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** I was just thinking the same thing this morning.
