Re: disability and adoption

I just wanted to share some wonderful news with you all...we found out

that we CAN adopt inspite of my past medical issues. I'm coming off of

disability by teaching classes on how to cope with Fibro/CFS and was so

worried they would not let us adopt because I was still on disability. I

was forced to have a hysterectomy when I was 29 and I've regretted it

ever since. That was the start of my first fibro symptoms. I was also

depressed because I wanted one last child and could not see my dream come

true. Watching my older two enter senior year in high school I was so

down thinking about how quiet it would be with just one son home and he's

gone a lot with his activities.

So now I have a REASON to want to do things even more. A new mission! I

find myself working a bit harder at taking care of myself for in a way

I'm pregnant by adoption since we've started the process. I know lots of

people will think we are crazy but I'm not ready to retire. I'm also

seeing results with my new vitamins and herbs. I'm sleeping better and

the last two days I woke feeling like I was ready to get out of bed!

These have a 90 day money back, I wish our prescriptions offered that.

Can you imagine what the drug companies would do for all the returns we'd

make on the ones that gave us problems!

thanks for the info on the new antidepressant, Lexapro. I'm glad to share

that with my students. I'd like to hear if anyone uses it and their

experiences.

So I'm looking for ways to help with the adoption expenses. Anyone

there any piles of " stuff " or drains, bathrooms etc draining your health?

We have fun looking for creative fixes and life is one long lesson...
