Guest guest
Just thought I would post my experience with itching because I think it is so out there. Well, I've never really had any itching until... after my last ercp (in October) when I got home from the hospital my itching went into overdrive. The worse place was the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands. It drove me bloody nuts. I went to my GP on Day 2 and said I was going to commit suicide if they didn't give me something. It was that bad. She doesn't really know that much about psc but I knew what to ask for (questran) so was prescribed it. Unbelievably after four or five days it stopped completely and I don't believe it stopped because of the questran, it just stopped. So i can sympathise with people that have got the intense itching all the time, I don't know how they cope with it. I have more of a problem with the fatigue but that's a whole different story.
