Guest guest
I'm pulling for you and hubby. I had been dx with Chron's and lived with that for 8 years, then I almost died due to swelling, and another took over and he thought it was UC. So I lived with UC for 8 more years until dysplasia was found....I had been dx 1 year earlier with PSC...so I went to Cleveland Clinic and has the jpouch surgery (that is the internal pouch), but because of PSC they had to do it in 2 steps instead of 1 step surgery. I am at the high end of success, as with the jpouch, well, I make 3-4 trips a day to the bathroom...which, with those IBD's is pretty dang good!!! Guest guest
We're hoping maybe he won't have to have a colectomy, at least not yet. We see his hepatologist next Wednesday so we'll know more about how his liver is doing then. He says he knows bile is getting through because when he goes to the bathroom, it's neon green. I told him he's pooping an alien. LOL Funny thing is, we go to the dr next Tuesday to hear our baby's heart beat for the first time and then go to his dr on Wednesday to see how things are going. He developed a low grade fever last night. It was only around 99.2 but his normal body temp is low so for him, 99.2 is a fever. He always gets sick after these procedures. I just hope he doesn't end up in the hospital again. He had me call the dr who did his colonoscopy yesterday because the first time he went to the bathroom afterwards, it was dark brown. They said just to keep an eye on it and watch out for bright red blood. He was up and out the door for work this morning before I was eve out of bed so I don't know how he's doing today.
