Hi folks...Just thought it was my turn to give my two cents on this subject

since it seems to be ongoing...Of course I am not going to make it off topic

for obvious reasons, but here is my take on it.

I totally agree that what was said was not nice. No one with fibro would

have thought it was funny. But, for every joke there is a butt of the joke.

Fibro was the butt of this bit of humor. Nice or not, humor is used in TV

every day, and I am sure that we are not the only group of people who have

been offended and outraged by something said on TV.

In my personal opinion, I am far more outraged by uncaring individuals in the

medical community that are supposed to be helping but instead are doubting

this disease. Actors can claim ignorance and lack of education. Doctors

cannot.

It is my opinion that you can wait forever for an apology from Tyne

Daly...you will be waiting awhile.

Your other option is to turn this energy into something positive. Why does

energy always have to be on a negitive topic? There are a gizzilion positive

things you can do! Send a thank you card to a doc who really listened and

cared...If you feel well enough, volunteer somewhere for a few hours...Email

Keebler and tell them how good their cookies are!

Have a good day and keep your face to the sun!
