Guest guest
Hi EveryOne, I am taking 4 Grains of Armour sublingually in divided doses and Isocort: three tabs am and two pm . Also a nutri-meds adrenal in am. My body temps are still only in the high 97's most of the time. My body seems to cool itself by breaking out in a sweat and I feel hot at 97.8 so my body temperature hardly ever gets to 98s. My blood pressure and pulse are low- normal. I also take DHEA 25mg. and use Progesterone cream. All the supplements and vitamins, herbs etc. too. The only other symptom, beside the low temps that I still have left, is puffiness under and around my eyes. On Dr. Rinds chart I had both Thyroid and Adrenal symptoms but feel pretty good now, - except for the low temps and the eye puffiness. So much better now than two years ago when I started this journey. Tried Hydrocortone (Cortisol) for two weeks but feel better on the Isocort and one Nutri-meds Adrenal. I feel about right on 3.5 to 4 Grains of Armour. I went up to 4.5 for awhile but it didn't change my temperature any. What else is left? I recently made the mistake of trying to take extra Iodine, not a good idea, felt terrible and hyper. Keep making that mistake every so often but hope I learned this time. Does that reaction to iodine mean I have hashis or do regular hypothyroid folks get that too? All suggestions welcome. I have almost run out of ideas:-)) Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev
Guest guest
I would increase your Armour. Maybe 5 is your magic number, but so it slowly, in small increments. Low body temp and facial puffiness are NOT good things, especially the puffiness as that means you are still retaining fluids from hypo. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
