Guest guest
I went, it was for a nuclear test on my gall bladder because I haven't been able to eat anything but jell-o w/out throwing up for almost since June 1st. They stuck me nine times trying to get an IV in and my veins kept blowing, they've gotten so thin and uncooperative. He wanted to have me leave and come back sometime because he was worrried about sticking me too much after 4x and I told them no way I wanted the tests done and over with. I just started crying and crying 'casuse I'm so sick of being sick! He said my vein issue may due to the Lupus and veins being muscle and of course because I've been in and out of the ER so much lately and they're ALWAYS taking blood and hooking me up to IV's etc that my veins are just getting weaker and weaker. But also suggested that not only am I having an issue w/my gall bladder (it's non- functioning) he feels it could be my pancreas as well. I'm gonna research that thru today. Hope you're all well, and I will return soon...off to another appt. Take care! Trac
Guest guest
HI Sorry to hear what you've had to go through. I just went through the same stuff recently. Was in the hospital and developed some mystery infection which then ended up affecting my gallbladder. I refused surgery at the time, hoping to wait as long as possible before having it removed. Was told I will eventually have to have it out, but at least I will be able to do it when I am not so sick! Good luck and I hope all the tests come back ok - as for your arms....let those poor babies rest!!! meg
