what's a skin biopsy like??

Hi group--

Sorry I'm so quiet, just still trying to get the hang of things, plus

I'm not on the computer all that often. I need to have my malar rash

biopsied and just wondered what that entailed?? I keep hearing the

word skin punch and thing hmmmmmmm that sounds fun. If any of you

have had this done, would you let me know what they do?? Also, how

do they know it's a lupus rash or not, does it have actual antibodies

in the skin or what??? Thanks for your help all!
