After being diganosed with numerous food allergies I learnt how much

food can effect your body...

if you are allergic to the foods containing the carbs..then isnt it

possible that in that effect it will decrease the pain ?

I was allergic to so many foods that it becasme more stressful to go

shopping to find somehting I COULD eat..that any benefiets of

avoding the food i was allergic too were lost.

one funny thing was...I was allergic to deep sea fish...

I wondered wether i was spose to ask the fish where it came from

before I banged it on the head to eat it ? afterall it was in any

water when i ate it...lol

Missy,

I too eat no red meat. Or white sugar, or flour, etc. I eat some

chicken, and some fish. I haven't noticed any difference in pain

levels though. I drink organic milk, since I'm not ready to give up

dairy, but I don't want cows abused for my benefit. But getting to

the point, you mention soy as an alternative protein source. And yes,

it is, but be careful of what you read, especially at the vegan

sites. We westerners do not process soy the same way the Asian

cultures do, and therefore it loses a lot of it's benefits. And isn't

as healthy a replacement as some would like you to believe. Which is

why I haven't made the switch to being a total vegan. I hate

supporting poultry factory farming(since the Amish have taken to

running puppy mills and I can't eat Amish chicken now), but I'm also

afraid of not getting any sort of actual meat protein either. I do

usually supplement with a soy protein drink though. I'm not saying

soy isn't good, just to make sure you know all the information. If I

can find the site with the info about soy again, i'll post a link for

you.

Take care,
