Of course you are. Isn't that why it's called Panic > > Attacks, because you feel a sense of panic with the racing heart, > shallow breathing, etc.?? My panic attacks can and usually do happen when I am reading and for no know reason my hear is racing, I can't swallow, I can't breathe. Of course, I am in a panic situation. I wouldn't be having the problems mentioned if I were not in a panic situation. What I would like to know is why? Why do they happen when you are calm or rather when I am calm? It is times like this that I have them and I do wish that they would go away. I can be having a good time doing something with friends or family and then the panic feeling hits. I guess if you knew what causes them then you could cure them but like so many other things with fibro, there is no answer. If this doesn't make sense, I am sorry. I am trying to sort books to get some boxes out of the house. They are cluttering the house up and I am not a happy camper. It is taking a lot out of me. I work until about 10:00 every evening. My husband keeps after me to stop but I want to get them done before the 1st of July so that I can rest most of that month before going to London. I am very tired and in pain but I need to get this done. A compulsion will not let me stop until I am finished. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
