Not such good news today. The doctors examined Tom's drains and found that he's leaking fat. (I know, most of us wish our fat would just leak out, but apparently that's not a good thing). This isn't an unusual occurrence. The docs are going to put him on an extremely low fat, high complex carbohydrate diet to fix the leakage. If that works he'll probably come home in a couple of days. If not, they are going to put him on a week of IV fluids at the hospital. Please pray that the diet thing works and he can come home by Christmas.

I don't know anymore details than what I've told you. I wasn't there when to doctor came by to ask him questions. I'll let you know if I find out anything else.Kathy
