Guest guest
I just got a call from my doc saying that my TSH was .08... too low. She wants me to drop down a grain on the Armour from 3 to 2 grains. I still feel crappy, but it could be because my Vit D is too low. She's prescribing a once a week Vit D to help bring that up. Just thought I'd give you guys an update. Tigger
Guest guest
your medication should be altered based on a free t3 and a free t4 tests, not tsh! Guest guest
If I can just make a small suggestion: if you think you might decide to take more than the doctor prescribed, order an extra bottle of armour (or whatever) now, because it can take a LONG time to get here. If you decide not to self-medicate, having a backup bottle is still a good idea (just remember to use it and replace it with a new one every so often). If you feel as crappy going from 3 grains to 2 as I suspect you will, you may really want that spare. -- prr " Tigger " tigger57ri@... wrote: Val, honey, I haven't felt hyper in years. As a matter of fact it was the doctor's call that woke me up at noon time. I admit I had a rough day yesterday and it probably made my fibro and chronic fatigue worse. She's putting me on Prescription Vit D (once a week) and dropping the Armour from 3 grains to 2 grains. I'll go along with all of this right now. I'm headed to Seattle, WA for a revision of my very bad gastric by-pass that I had in 2002. The reason I'm going there is that is suppose to be the top doc in the country. I'll see what he has to say.... I'll give myself my 6-8 week healing period..... then damnit if I have to I'll do the rest my way (our way).... the thyroid. Guest guest
Thank, already did that one. For once I didn't have a major brain fart.
