Hi everyone--Just popping up to make another quick appearance.Great news today on the liver itself. Having the doctor refer to to my liver in the same sentence as the word 'perfect' is something that I'm not used to hearing! I got quite emotional sharing that news with Kathy...but that's one of those things about which you WANT to get emotional. And to Larry, I'll never forget that you made this possible.

We're at two weeks and a day in this journey. I feel myself getting noticeably stronger every day. I walked 12 laps around the hall today. Five days ago, I couldn't even walk to the door of my room. It is so nice to see and feel tangible progress.

The other little bumps in the road are a pain. They delay my release and complicate things. We'll get through them, but for now, they are more than a little inconvenient. I'm still on the clear broth and jello diet
